A really really big card!

Hello crafty friends, today I'm posting my last entry into the MFT 2019 Card Superstar challenge!
Other then the sentiment this is a one layer card. I wanted to create this scene without shoving my characters to close together resulting in one huge card! Hope you like it.

This was colored with copic markers and the sky was done with my copic airbrush.
Materials used : MFT Magical Dragons
MFT Stitched Sentiment Strips
MFT Trees in the forest
Wink of Stella clear

The red dragon looks speckled in this picture because he's layered with wink of stella! All of the dragons are layered with wink of stella because their magical, for some reason with my lighting in the PNW  it only showed up in that picture on the red dragon.lol

As you can see a lot of masking went on in the making of this. Thanks for stopping by!

Interactive Christmas card

Hi crafty friends I'm back again with another card for MFT's superstar contest! My make today is for the innovation master.  So for my make there's a lot of different things that went into it including chibi lights! I've also included some photo's below of my process and even a boo boo.

Looks pretty ordinary huh? Doesn't seem very innovative, but wait........

Ok now that's a little something a light up card, still pretty plain though, but wait........

That's it! Hope you enjoyed it and found it at least a little innovative.  Below are some photos of the process and a little accident I had!

Materials used:

MFT Santa's Elves (sentiment and ornaments)
MFT Well Connected Alphabet
MFT Lucky Dog
MFT Cool Cat
MFT Die-namics Home Sweet Home
MFT Die-namics Stitched Sentiment Strips
Chibi lights
Finnabair snowflake paste

And now for my mistake! While stamping the sentiment on the inside I didn't realize I had some ink on my fingers!
There's some ink by the bottom of the y and on the W!

Luckily I was able to mask this with some embellishments and a little bit of a white pen!
Thanks for stopping by!

CAS card

Hello friends! I feel like its been a day and then some.  I've started to just post my makes only on instagram because I feel like its so much faster and easier. However today's make is for a few challenges, the biggest one being the superstar challenge!, so I felt it deserved some blog space.

Today's make is for the Clean and Simple challenge. I wanted to keep it with a black and white kind of look with a tad bit of color on the inside.

Materials used
MFT  Harvest buddies
Copic markers (some from every gray family)
Pretty Pink Posh mini stars and charcoal sequins

The sentiment is from the same stamp set, I just cut it in pieces.

The inside acorns were colored with colored pencils so it wouldn't seep through the back of my card.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges

Thanks for stopping by I hope you enjoyed this make!

Dreamy Card

Hi friends.  Well it's amazing I'm back twice in one day! While working on my first card for the lawnfanatics I had an idea for another card that I had to see through so here it is!

I'm really happy with the way this turned out and I was inspired by a creation I had seen from mama elephant.

Materials used

Lawn Fawn Stitched circles, upon a star
copic markers
embossing powder
star sequins

Thanks for stopping by!

Shaker Card gone wrong

Hello crafty friends I'm back again with another card for another challenge. Today's card is for the Lawnfantics challenge blog which is a sketch challenge. I love sketch challenges because one of the hardest things for me as a card maker is deciding where to place things.

So what went wrong with this card, well several things. first I wish I would've thought to do my embossing before I added the acetate! Thats right unfortunately this warped my acetate not sure if you can tell. Next while I did put down some powder on the acetate to prevent my sequins from sticking this didn't really help so it's not to much of a shaker card.  Finally my wish tag I made every effort to get this cut out without cutting off the top part of the h but it still got off!!

Anyway here is my card for the challenge, hope you like it. All in all I'm still happy with it!
Materials used:
Copic markers
Embossing powder
Lawn Fawn - Teeny Tiny Backdrops, Upon a Star
Sequins
Fun foam
Acetate

Mothers day card

Hello crafting friends, today I have a card I made for the whimsy stamps challenge April showers bring May flowers.  I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone and make this a mother's day card! Win win right!

Supplies used:

Whimsy Stamps "Teddy Best Friends"
Darice  embossing essentials "Cherry  Blossom"
Fun foam

I colored this little guy and the background with copic makers. My original intentions had been to create a daytime scene but it turned into dusk.lol
I was also going to add a sentiment to the front but I liked it just the way it was and sometimes less is more right?!

So for the inside since this is a Mother's day card I youtubed a video for pop up flowers and followed the steps.  Can't send my mom a card with no flowers!

I hope you enjoyed this card!

Mermaid Pop-up Birthday Card

Hello crafty friends! It's been a long time since I've been on here, but today I'm back with this mermaid pop- up birthday card. Since I very rarely make boy's cards I geared this one a little more towards boys although I'd like to think of it more as unisex since it would make a great card for anyone.

This stamp set is by C.C. Designs, "Summer Fun". I absolutely adore this set. I'm entering this card in the C.C. Design challenge red and teal. Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoyed this card as much as I did making it!

An inspired by challenge
