Its been a crazy month! Last minute mixed media had to make for my husband to give one of his boss that just came back to work this week.  I'm actually surprised that I was able to make the time to post this on here!. I give credit to everyone that keeps up with their blog its a lot of work!  Ok so here we go....

Supplies

5x7 canvas board
Dylusions ink spray in vibrant turquoise, lemon zest, and crushed grape
Liquitex basics acrylic gesso
Decoart dimensional effects paste
Stickles diamond
decoart dazzling metallic in festive red, splendid gold, and shimmering silver
Stampendous frantage embossing powder in shabby white
Mini Cherry Blossoms stencil by thecraftersworkshop.com
paper flowers
Tiddly inks Druscilla

copics used

Skin - E04, E11, E00, E000, R20, BV000

Hair - C9, C7, C5, C5, C3

Dress - BV08, BV04, BV02, V09

Wings - BG000, B01, wink of stella Green and clear

I sprayed my canvas with the dylusions spray which I'm really loving I think its the best so far out of what I've tried which mind you isn't much but I just love the way it lays down and how it pools always giving me a nice effect. I definitely wanna get more colors in this. Once it appeared to be dry I cut out a stencil with my silhouette cameo I believe the cut was called birch trees, sold in the silhouette store. I went over the stencil with a medium thickness gesso to give it some dimension. Once that was dry I sprinkled frantage on it and used a candle lighter to melt it into place. I then used the cherry blossom stencil with dimensional paste, once dry I painted over the flowers and birds with my metallic paint.  As far as the color on the gesso and on the dimensional paste leaves it just kind of absorbed the color that was laid down on the canvas in the beginning. I used foam pop dots to place druscilla down and E6000 to glue down the flowers.

Thanks for stopping bye!
