CAS Birthday card

So today I'm blogging a birthday card I made about a week ago for my mom's birthday which is today =). I needed to make a quick card so I went with CAS.  The Image is from All Dressed Up "cute got cuter". I used Darice "paw print" embossing folder to do the frame on the outside and used a Lawn Fawn rectangle die to cut out the center. I also used scotch grass washi tape for part of the background because I was looking to do this card as quick as possible. I fussy cut my dog out and used scotch foam tape to adhere him into the rectangle giving him dimension.

So today I have a birthday card I just finished to enter in the markerpop bi weekly challenge. This ones about critters. I've been meaning to use the tim holtz bird crazy stamp set by stampers anonymous and this gave me the perfect opportunity! Just wanted to make a simple card since its all about the image.

CAS christmas card

I'm always admiring people's CAS (clean and simple) cards.  I've tried to made one before but don't really think I achieved the effect, it was still a tad to busy, So today I've decided to give it another go!
So here it is and I'm pretty pleased with it!

The background stencil was a file from bird's cards I cut it out using stencil material on my silhouette cameo and airbrushed it with my copic airbrush.
