Gift Card Holder

Hello KBD friends, for today's project I've decided to make a gift card holder by hand. It's really simple to do and can be so much nicer then the plan envelopes they give you in the store.

First I took a piece of scrap cardstock I had and            Placing an old gift card that I had lying             cut it down to 4" x 7". Next I scored it at 3" then          around I marked where I wanted the cuts that   again at 3" from that score line.                                     would hold the card in place. I used an xacto                                                                                             knife and metal ruler to cut these slits. I then                                                                                           used my PPP stitched borders to the top fold                                                                                             over a little more fancy.

Finally I folded my fancy edge down and marked where I wanted my half moon to go to help keep the holder shut. My half moon is not perfect drew and cut this by hand using an xacto knife. I know they make punches for this kind of tab but I don't have one, if you have one feel free to use yours!

Now on to the fun part, decorating!

Stay Cool Gift Tag

Hello KBD friends! Today I wanted to do something a little different and create a gift tag instead of a card. I decided since this little bunny was having a delicious shave ice during the hot summer, the sentiment should match.

I haven't used my fun flock in a long time so decided it was time to bust it out! Unfortunately its been so long I forgot that its a good idea to color your image first to cover up any holes that the fun flock doesn't cover, so my bunny is a little splotchy.

Materials used:

Kitty Bee Designs - Shave Ice Bunny
My Favorite Things - Die-namics stitched scallop basic edge, Stitched fishtail banner, Merry and bright 6x6 paper pack, well connected alphabet
Stampendous - fun flock caramel latte tan
Lawn Fawn - tiny tag sayings
Stickles - true blue, purple, spun sugar
Ranger - enamel accents black
Wow! - fluorescent pink embossing powder
Snowflake sequin
Snow marker
copic - R20, R29, E55, B04, FV2
American Crafts - elements (eyelet)
ribbon
washi tape

Hope you enjoyed my make, thanks for stopping bye!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenge:

I like to shout out a big thank you to this aloha friday challenge sponsors!
